On the road again

I'm pretty sure my last post was full of promises to "be a better blogger;" we all see how that worked out for me. Well I do what I can, I guess!

Today I spent the better part of my driving time wondering how necessary blinkers and their uses are. Not many people actually use them. In fact, there is apparently a rule out there that... ah-hem "one must not find it absolutely necessary to use one's blinker while on neighborhood streets." Yes. That is the conclusion I've come to lately. Gee, I sure wish they would have let me in on that one in driver's ed. Imagine all the energy I could save in my left middle and ring fingers! Oh, and the gas mileage! (I once read that things like your headlights and blinker do use some gas...?) I won't even GET INTO the fact that not using blinkers could possibly calm all qualms about mis-use of fossil fuels. (-; And I will admit that blinkers are sort of necessary, but my new theory is this: you are excused from using your blinker if 1.) you're really low on gas and getting to the gas station is becoming less of a possibility, or 2.) if you are on a neighborhood street. New rule. Sort of like those beer commercials for "man laws." Well here's a "blog law." What I write in this blog shall become TRUTH. (echo, echo, echo.)

Hope you all are having a fantastic summer!! and I'm now off to lose myself in blog land, checking in on everyone who I have fallen behind with (-:
