Playing Catch (up!)

Since I am reviewing everyone else's bolgs and it looks like people actually write things for other people to read, I thought I'd cave to the peer pressure and join in the game.

Flugtag is in town today. Apparently that means something along the lines of "flying" in German. Can't really be sure...

No one will let me pay them for stuff in dimes (I'm down to one roll of dimes!) but it's getting to this point: next time someone tells me that they don't accept rolled coin as payment, I am going to crack it open on their counter and count dimes!! They can't downright REFUSE my money, can they? The best perk so far? The kid at Taco Bell let me just have a taco for free because he didn't want to have to deal with the dimes.

The natives (6th graders) are getting restless and so am I, quite frankly. 19 more school days. Will we make it? That is yet to be seen. (-;

Well there's the Reader's Digest version of the last week of my life!! No, I don't know how to post pictures on my blog yet (wasn't that my goal for last summer?!) and speaking of weather; I'll have more interesting things to blog about once we hit the triple digits... (monday or so they say...)
